Portrait Photography

Themed Portraits

I didn’t realize how much I would enjoy taking portraits. Something I really love is having a main subject in focus while the background is blurred. The background blur is called bokeh. I chose these four themed portraits because I love the color contrast and the adventure style. Each portrait tells a story by the look in their eyes or where they are standing.

Headshots

I chose these portraits because they capture good contrast and composition. On the excursion these photos were taken it was overcast and rainy but this made the colors pop and stand out than they normally would. The yellow grass and dark mountains make the subject stand out. The mossy green shown on the rocks and water dripping from the trees create beautiful colors.
